Just to let you know that it has been announced that the NZ Govt has announced that the New Zealand Daylight Savings time is being extended for the 2007-2008 summer season.
Clocks will go forward an hour a week earlier than usual - on the last Sunday in September- and back an hour on the first Sunday in April.

The people to notify about this are the C library (GNU lib C) maintainers. Therein lies the database of time zones and daylight savings. Linux distributors will pick it up in due course automatically.

Thanks for the heads up - GNOME and KDE PIM have their own timezone databases (don't ask me why we don't use the libc ones) so I'll make sure that kdepim3 is up to date.
