A few questions first: Will there be official builds of aria2? Will there be official .metalinks? For the brave, nightly builds of DownThemAll!, a Firefox extension, support Metalink - mirrors & full file checksums, no download repairs yet. (Expect a beta in a few weeks). In this screenshot, the icon/logo, description, publisher, license, OS/arch, & other info are taken from the metalink. I've updated the wiki. aria2 (RPMs graciously provided at http://linux01.gwdg.de/~pbleser/rpm-navigation.php?cat=/Network/aria2 ) can autocorrect/repair metalink downloads if they contain chunk checksums. Basically, your finished download should have no errors when it's done, similar to rsync and BitTorrent downloads.
