First thought - probably not the best of ideas.
I mean, if we start
adding links to the bottom of each post for every page we want to
draw attention to, none will get any attention.
Not all links, this link was proposed for a reason.
And so will the next many links be too. We have many pages we might
want to draw attention to, I don't think adding them (round-robin,
all-at-once or whatever) to the bottom of postings will be effective
(for very long).
1. This page calls itself junior jobs, people who are
looking to
contribute will not have to search for it, if they are already on ML
2. Plus this page also works as a POC for a lot of other links as far
as I think.
I suggest we add the link to the main openSUSE project page, to keep one
single starting point.
Plus, there
are many things deserving attention. It would have to be
something random or in a loop.
A list of pages that keep on rotating with every mail sounds awesome.
+1 to this I love it, let me see how we can get this done, if at all.
I will need sometime
It's easy enough to do - collect the links, write a script, add it to
the mailing list manager.
IMHO, the "advertising" position on the bottom of postings would be much
better used for news - announcing new pages, new projects, whatever.
