Fellow openSUSE Members, The results of the 2021 openSUSE Board Election are in. Total eligible voters: 542 Voters who cast ballots: 147 (including abstainers) Vote Count detail by candidate: Attila Pinter 122 for = 83%, 22 against, and 3 abstentions Maurizio Galli 120 for = 82%, 21 against, and 6 abstentions The newly elected Board members are: 1. Congrats to the new board members. I had thought that the election period closed at midnight tonight (not midnight last night), but these two are clear winners. :) -- Jim Henderson Please keep on-topic replies on the list so everyone benefits

Same here, though luckily not a tight election ("percentage of votes cast is positive" is the relevant metrics). ;-) For future elections it's probably a good idea to specify the concrete time (0:00, 23:59, or 24:00) and timezone. Gerald

Could be, I would say specify a time and timezone (UTC is good, that's easy for everyone to figure out from where they are - if it's UTC+12 with the goal of being after all timezones have moved to the next day (ie, everyone can vote on Dec 31 regardless of the time in their time zone, that also works because there's no calculation needed - wherever you are, if it's December 31 (or whatever date), voting is still open. -- Jim Henderson Please keep on-topic replies on the list so everyone benefits
