It's great to see so many good candidates running for the election! May I ask about the company affiliation of each candidate? This is important, as no more than 40% of the board members can be affiliated with the same company [1] (ie, no more than 2 people since we have 5 board members). I wholeheartedly agree with that. The quantity and quality of those running is fantastic. It will not be easy choosing. It's great to have an embarrassment of riches when it comes to candidates for the board. Indeed.
May I ask about the company affiliation of each candidate? This is important, as no more than 40% of the board members can be affiliated with the same company [1] (ie, no more than 2 people since we have 5 board members).
I suggest to list those add the election wiki. From my knowledge, I expect only one duplication - both Pavol and Will are employed by SUSE / Attachmate Group. But we should indeed list those, Andreas -- Andreas Jaeger aj@{suse.com,opensuse.org} Twitter/Identica: jaegerandi SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, Maxfeldstr. 5, 90409 Nürnberg, Germany GF: Jeff Hawn,Jennifer Guild,Felix Imendörffer,HRB16746 (AG Nürnberg) GPG fingerprint = 93A3 365E CE47 B889 DF7F FED1 389A 563C C272 A126 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-project+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, email: opensuse-project+owner@opensuse.org

Andreas, We also have Henne is the board which is also SUSE Alan as ChairMan is excluded from that. So if the rule apply, then only one of Pavol or Will can be elected, right ? if they are in the 3 first ? Same as in the past: If both employees are in the top 3, then the employee who got the second-most votes would be disqualified and the person who got #4 would become the next board member. Example: (Current board has one elected employee already on board) Employee A #1 = 50 votes Non Employee A #2 = 45 votes Employee B #3 = 20 votes Non Employee B #4 = 18 votes Result: Employee A, Non Employee A and Non Employee B win board seats. Employee B is disqualified because there is already another employee sitting on the board from previous election.
