[opensuse-project] member of OpenSUSE github project
HI All, How can I join to OpenSUSE project on github.com ? I would like to publish there the source code for http://lizards.opensuse.org in the similar way as is done for the https://connect.opensuse.org/ - openSUSE / connect His might help us to cooperate on updates for it with IS&T department od SUSE. my github user name is mcaj. and so far I have published there my hackweek project dv2switch and a few small "home-used" utilities see - https://github.com/mcaj If you need additional information cantact me on IRC or email. Have nice day. Martin

I though that lizards.o.o was only a regular Wordpress installation (you can download the code from somewhere else, not a big deal) with some publicly available plugins and a custom theme which is already available at https://github.com/openSUSE/wordpress What are you planning to upload exactly?

I believe (Please correct me if I'm wrong Martin) that he's trying to achieve the same thing we have with connect.o.o, planet.o.o and many of the other openSUSE.org websites where the github repositories are used for staging new deployments of code/changes, which are then deployed either automatically or semi-automatically to the real servers in question We have lots of outstanding changes needed for Lizards, from openSUSE Members who'd like their blogs (like myself) to more arcane stuff like software patches. I was told that Martin was taking this on, which I think is great, Thanks Martin! Hopefully someone reading this can give you the access you need. - Richard -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-project+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, email: opensuse-project+owner@opensuse.org
