There will be 4 seats to be elected, 2 for a 2 year term, and 2 for a 1 year term. If you're not willing to run please consider to nominate someone who you would like to see on the Board. If you know someone please feel free to contact the election officials team to propose your candidate. [1] The time-line we decided for this years elections is the following: * October 28 - Start of standing up for candidacy, nominating candidates, apply for membership * November 18 - Start of candidates campaign * December 2 - Ballots open * December 15 - End of voting * December 16 - Announcement of the results If you are a openSUSE contributor but not a member yet, apply for membership until next November 17th to be part of the elections decision.
