[opensuse-project] Call for sessions: FOSDEM cross-distributions devroom

Hey, please note the Call for Papers from the FOSDEM Distro Mini Conf. You have until December 20th to submit your talk/BoF/round table. Make use of this awesome mini conf and hold talks before a room full of other distribution developers. Henne -------- Original Message -------- Subject: [Distributions] Call for sessions: cross-distributions devroom Date: Sun, 28 Oct 2012 09:05:03 +0100 From: Wouter Verhelst <wouter@debian.org> Organization: The Debian Project, http://www.debian.org/ To: distributions@lists.fosdem.org CC: fosdem@lists.fosdem.org Hello World, This is the official call for sessions for the FOSDEM 2013 cross-distributions devroom. As in previous years, any session relating to distributions development is welcome. Since this is an opportunity for different distributions to cooperate, we're specifically looking for sessions that are of interest to people from multiple distributions; however, if you have something interesting to talk about that is of more interest to just one particular distribution, that is certainly welcome too. Sessions can be things like talks, roundtables, or BoFs; anything is welcome. However, please note that for roundtables or BoFs, I'd still like one or more people to step up as moderator, who'll be listed as 'speaker' on the schedule. If you want to hold a session in the distributions devroom, please send an email to the distributions@lists.fosdem.org mailinglist, containing the following information: - Your name - A (short) bio - (optionally) a picture - A title for the talk - A description of the talk (just a paragraph or two will do) - Your desired timeslot duration (30 or 60 minutes) - If you already have that information, your availability during the FOSDEM weekend to help us schedule the sessions. And this no later than december 20th, 2012, which is two months less one week from now. That isn't a lot of time, so please don't hesitate too long in proposing a session. Please also forward this call for sessions to your appropriate distribution-specific mailinglist(s), so we can actually get some sessions to appear. Thanks, -- Copyshops should do vouchers. So that next time some bureaucracy requires you to mail a form in triplicate, you can mail it just once, add a voucher, and save on postage. _______________________________________________ Distributions mailing list Distributions@lists.fosdem.org https://lists.fosdem.org/listinfo/distributions -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-project+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, email: opensuse-project+owner@opensuse.org
