[opensuse-project] prettifying our location at oSC

Hey all, So the Zentrifuge location is a 'creative and open space' which also means it's quite empty right now... We are supposed to lighten up the place with our energetic presence :D To help with that, we need EVERYONE who is available on saturday to help make it pretty. We've got a bunch of $$$ and a van - and empty rooms with room for imagination. Who helps us buy stuff, bring it to the conference, then help carry beanbags, hang up posters, put down potted plants and more things like that to make it work for oSC?!? We really need some help with that, so anyone... please? It'd be nice if you let us know if you can help, but even if you don't - just show up saturday as early as possible (not before 10, of course) and help us cary stuff around :D /The conf team

Can we on Friday evening (end of afternoon) have all the orga part done. So Saturday morning, any volunteer will be able to pick a job and get it done. I already know that a bunch of the work will be done Thursday too. -- Bruno Friedmann Ioda-Net Sàrl www.ioda-net.ch openSUSE Member & Ambassador GPG KEY : D5C9B751C4653227 irc: tigerfoot

Henne orga like organization Yesterday you talk about having the things organized, otherwise Jos will have 10.000 questions on Saturday and get a washed brain before Sunday. (If I can I would avoid that :-) I don't know how much you (you like Nü helper & resident) will have already done when I will arrive. But I really like to help at that time already. And work hard Saturday (with efficiency) The team staff (you remember, the ugly yellow t-shirt yaloki talk about :-) I would prefer multi-color t-shirt as yellow is really horrible, and each "staff" member will have lot to do -- Bruno Friedmann Ioda-Net Sàrl www.ioda-net.ch openSUSE Member & Ambassador GPG KEY : D5C9B751C4653227 irc: tigerfoot -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-project+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-project+help@opensuse.org

That's what I want to know. What "things" that get organized are you talking about? What "things" need to be done by Saturday morning? When will this end on Saturday? (I think I'm arriving around 6pm, which is probably a bit late for that). Also, during the meeting yesterday, Pascal mentioned the idea of having a map and pins, so we could easily see where people are from. That'd be cool! Since we apparently only needed links to have Andreas buy stuff for this, here we go: http://www.amazon.de/Modern-World-Antique-Rajko-Zigic/dp/9539578302/ref=sr_1... http://www.amazon.de/Markierf%C3%A4hnchen-farbig-sortiert-100-St%C3%BCck/dp/... Thanks. But I fear we need also some way to stick this to the wall since the pins will not hold in the paper alone - and the wall behind is too stick for the pins.
