I am not sure which Intel wireless it's using, the docs only state Built-in Wifi 6 802.11ax. Is there something I am missing with the Intel wireless? For now I am using a generic Realtek USB so I have some wifi. Chuck, please post on support@lists.opensuse.org , this list is for project related stuff.

I am running the latest tumbleweed snapshot

I am not sure which Intel wireless it's using, the docs only state Built-in Wifi 6 802.11ax. Is there something I am missing with the Intel wireless? For now I am using a generic Realtek USB so I have some wifi.
Chuck, Your problem is not one caused by openSUSE, thus I think you sent it to the wrong mailing list. General wireless problems such as yours should be sent to linux-wireless@vger.kernel.org. That is where the Intel developers will see your message. I live in both worlds, which is why I saw this message. Your report is nearly complete. You can determine the device using the 'lspci -nn' command. My Intel wireless card shows as 04:00.0 Network controller [0280]: Intel Corporation Wireless 7260 [8086:08b1] (rev 73) The useful part will be the 8086:XXXX that shoes for your system. One other thing, I know you are running a 6.4.4 kernel, but the Intel developer might not follow the openSUSE Tumbleweed releases. Post the output of 'uname -r'. Other questions: Has wifi in this device ever worked? Is it something that 6.4.4 broke? Optional: There are several fixes in kernel 6.5 that affects iwlmvm. If you are willing to try the latest kernel, follow the instructions in https://software.opensuse.org/download/package?package=kernel-default&project=Kernel%3AHEAD. Good Luck, Larry
