[opensuse-project] was: XBMC Tutorial - Kiosk Mode + openSUSE 12.3
A few things: 1) I've put effort in using Portuguese that would be easy to translate; if you pass through Google translate you will notice that it's easily translated to english in a clear way, except in one sentence. Sure some minor fixes are needed, but for the most, it works fairly nice. Do the same with other pages and see the differences. Now I understand why I had to learn the language for 12 years. 2) I have also a few scripts that I use for some tasks (ex: scanning directories for media files and create NFO files for with 'mediainfo' (already on the distro) for easy library and artwork downloads on XBMC). I have also a few other scripts for cron to integrate with transmission-daemon, but those are custom made for my own use case... but I can share. I've submitted a few time ago an update to run transmission-daemon as system service. So it's just a matter of editing the script and changing one or two path's. 3) I haven't mentioned on the article, but people can also enable the HTTP server on XBMC and use the an Android App as remote control for the laptop. 4) I have the xml files to make a bootable iso with XBMC, I can share those if needed, but in that case a few packages need to go to OBS since I create the iso based on a local repo with a few packages I made (ex: XBMC plymouth theme, which integrates nice) and a few addons I've built RPM packages. If any of this is wanted, let me know I can share them. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-project+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, email: opensuse-project+owner@opensuse.org
