You also have celestia. Please have a look at http://en.opensuse.org/Education we are collecting and testing applications for education. Both the packages you mentioned are available in the http://software.opensuse.org/download/Education:/desktop/ repos, Kstars is in the KDEEDU package.

http://www.freebsd.org/ports/astro.html has a nice list of related applications. Not all of these may be in the openSUSE Build Service yet, but they should be easy to add.
