[opensuse-project] GSoC 2014 Project : TSP(Travel Support Program) Application
Hello everyone, I am Karthik.S pursuing Information Technology and Engineering from National Institute of Technology,Karnataka,India. I am interested in working on the Travel Support Program(TSP) project of open-SUSE. I have contacted the mentor, Ancor González Sosa and have already started contributing for the project. I have experience in application development using Ruby on Rails, and have worked with the development team of a couple of websites based on RoR. I have always been an avid follower of Open Source development, and in turn very passionate about contributing back to the community(very eager to send my first open source pull request!). I feel that working with a prestigious and a well-established organization like open-SUSE will be an excellent opportunity to achieve the same and fulfill my motto. It always gives a great feeling to be a part of a community/family that dedicates the use of technology and science to simplify millions of lives all over the globe. Looking forward to the experience of working with the open-SUSE community.
