An announcement about what? Novell had announced earlier this year about their intentions of lay offs, granted they didnt specify whcich exact depts would be affected. Several of those that were on the receiving end of the lay offs have publicly announced what has happened on their blogs - Planet SUSE is a great place to hear/see information.
