Hi all, We had a meeting this evening. You can find the notes below or at https://etherpad.opensuse.org/p/weeklymeeting20210821 ## Presenter: ddemaio ## Participants: ddemaio, Gertjan, Onuralp #software.o.o. Feedback from Twitter and facebook. Others were added. Not sure what to make of this reply: A valuable place to find ready-made binaries (before building from source), and to find good contrib repositories. I suggest a didactic help nearby to explain the power of repo priorities combined to the affinity-based bindings used by libzypp (to get an unbreakable system ;-)) (Recommendation will not be included in the proposal for several reasons, one of which is not knowing what are in the binaries.) Some time there is many repos must be added for single app For example try to install veracrypt from there you need to add multiple repos in case you install it. (these appear to be home repositories with three dependencies) Maybe you could include the packman repo in the search results, I know it is not an official repo but you could state that in the results with a note. (legal question) Enhance the visual interface with screenshot or logos that are of a consistent quality and branding. Next step will send to stakeholders Submitted issue for get.o.o. Will create fix. #membership https://code.opensuse.org/project/membership handed over to membership officials https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Members#Detailed_steps_to_follow updated with current info, which is being fine tuned. # Moving meeting Meetings will be 90 minutes. Meetings will take place in https://meet.opensuse.org/meeting We will have two meetings a week; an option 1 and an option 2 meeting: Meeting 1: Meeting will be on Tuesday at 13:00 UTC Meeting 2: Meeting will be on Thursday at 18:00 UTC (Discussion to adjust the time for Meeting 1 and Meeting 2 will be one of the first topics discussed in these meeting. If times need to be adjusted between 11:00 to 15:00 UTC for Meeting 1 or 17:00 to 21:00 UTC for Meeting 2.)
