Hi Team, Could you please added me to the openSUSE org in GitHub? My GH username is StayPirate. Thank you and best regards, Gianluca -- Gianluca Gabrielli Cybersecurity Design & Engineering

Nothing specific actually. Since I'm interested in openSUSE and I was digging around to better understand its community, I thought to request to become a member of the GitHub org (after all, the request is free of charge... right? :D). Anyway, if this is intended only for people that actively develop software in openSUSE, then feel free to ignore my request. Being a member of the github organization doesn't do anything really. If you want to have (write) access to some specific repository you have to talk to the individual maintainers, they decide this. Some use github teams, some only have individuals assigned.

Sure, thanks. So, just to be clear: will you add me to the org anyway or we close this ticket here? In case you close it, I will reopen it in the future only if I really need to get write access to some repos (of course, with the approval of the repo owner).
