Just a thought regarding the Summit. I like the idea of co-locating with other events. People have a limited budget for conferences - not just in money, but in time as well. If openSUSE can roll into a larger event like LinuxTag in Berlin (either as a conference event, or just at the same time), I'd guess that there is a lot more potential for interest and attendance... as well as the general exposure/buzz it could generate from conference attendees. People are more likely to stop by and even contribute if they are already "in town" for a larger event. The board's preference is to have the budget public, with general reasonably detailed categories. We need to double check with SUSE if this approach is acceptable.
At oSC11 and oSC13 we already had a public budget. No need to ask for approval :-) Henne -- Henne Vogelsang http://www.opensuse.org Everybody has a plan, until they get hit. - Mike Tyson -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-project+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, email: opensuse-project+owner@opensuse.org
