Hi, Time flies when you're having fun and we are getting to the time of the year where board elections are in order. We've had a great conference earlier this year and are looking forward to the Summit in November and the impending release of openSUSE 13.1. Between now and the end of the year we'll need to have elections for the board and are happy to announce the Election Committee for this year's election: Izabel Valverde, Harisankar, Thomas Schmidt We would like to thank them for stepping up to form the Election Committee. It is not too late, and if you have an interest in participating in the committee please get a hold of Izabel. That said, the committee will guide the community through this year's election process, work with the candidates to get their platforms posted and eventually tally up the votes and post the results. With this the board will step back from the election process and let the Election Committee proceed. Any questions regarding the elections should be posted to the list and will be answered by the committee. Please support the Election Committee, the candidates, and don't forget to vote during the election period.
