Koushik, I thought Li-f-e Project does 32 bit available because some packages and applications are not pretty available for 64 bit. MWe need more info about before try this conversion from 32 to 64. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-project+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, email: opensuse-project+owner@opensuse.org

32-bit x86 programs run just fine on 64-bit x86-64, so you can continue to use those... Do we need a 64 bit system to have 64 bit packages only? I think not, but I'll be glad to be proven wrong. On 10 February 2012 05:54, Jos Poortvliet <jos@opensuse.org> wrote: ...
My advice: don't.
Ok, I managed, but only with an openSUSE DVD and quite a few hours of un-breaking my system ;-)
... Jos is scaring me to hell. I won't touch this with a 20 foot pole until I see a copy of Togan's step-by-step todo. I would have thought the post-kernel stuff wouldn't be too difficult. But if we can't see root, it's not just "Game Over". It's "game over, totalled.". -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-project+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, email: opensuse-project+owner@opensuse.org
