[opensuse-project] Project: Porting of the Plasma-Active Bodega client to openSUSE
Hi! I am Abhijeet Nikam. I am currently studying Computer Science and Engineering in Amrita School of Engineering (Coimbatore), India. My programming skills include: C/C++, Python, HTML and CSS. I have a good basic understanding of QT,QML and Git version control system. I am currently extensively going through QML tutorials and learning to build small applications using it. I am new to open source contribution but I have taken part in many FOSS related workshops and had got selected for Hack-fest Workshop under KDE. I would love to apply for GSoC with this projecct under openSUSE and become a part of this community. It would be great fun to work with experienced mentors and receive guidance throughout your journey to become a part of it. I believe I have the determination towards my goals to deliver on my goals and not leave out things halfway or unfinished. I will really appreciate any kind of guidance from mentors related to the project. I would love to start with easy tasks and later taking on tough ones in order to build a strong proposal for GSoC 2014. Approach your mentor and he should engage with you and help you out with general stuff and also with your proposal for gsoc. Make yourself at home here and feel free to ask any questions.
