Same as with admin manual: we had that (iirc 10.3 had a second DVD with full rest of openSUSE repo) and it was not appreciated (reviews, survey).
I had that one, and I missed a note about what was the second dvd for. I simply expected Yast to ask for it, but I never really knew what it was for. How could it be appreciated?
The box had a in big letters: 16GB of software.
I saw that. And I liked it on sight.
And yast would have asked for it, if you installed software only on the second DVD. Seems you didn't.
No, I think that Yast simply preferred to download stuff not in the first dvd from the oss/nonoss online repos instead. The DVDs were used during the initial upgrade, but not later. I think, that was over a year ago. - -- Cheers, Carlos E.
