AFAIK, this problem is being worked on, in theory, identical binaries with newer rpm release numbers have to be discarded BEFORE they reach testers.. however in practise it is not that easy ;) Just to give you a cruel example, if you build package "very-complex-tool" with the same compiler, same libraries, etc but you just change the actual machine where it is getting build ( aka, build in host1 rather than host2) you may get different binaries.. <:) -- "We have art in order not to die of the truth" - Friedrich Nietzsche Cristian Rodríguez R.
