Actually, I count four, although none of you would have spotted the fourth. At the last Heroes meeting a few days ago, I stepped up and said I would take on the job of moving our information off of Connect and into our own new solution, if I can get the right access and *if I can get the necessary help* from other Community Members. Christian Boltz (cboltz), another couple Heroes, and I made some tentative pre-plans. However, I also said I need some time to rest after the Elections process, and will still be resting for a few days, yet. Part of that is the total lack of response and interest by anyone on this list to step up and help us -- Ish, Edwin, and I on the Elections Committee -- with a simple task in the Elections: Organize the IRC debates for us, as the three of us were too tied up or otherwise unable to do that. If nobody steps up, nothing gets done, and that is the same with this issue. Note that Carlos, here, *has* offered to help, and that makes #3 with Ish and Edwin being #1 & #2. All people who have already done some heavy lifting for the Project. Actually, come to think of it, I think there are now 5, because I think jdd also made some commitments along the way. Is that right, jdd??? Keep in mind, we can only do what we know how to do, so if some of you on here have certain skills that will help, please step up. I see two Vincent's, f.e., making a lot of noise about how this needs to be done, but they still have not offered to work on it. ... and others ... I completely agree with what Richard has said, and continues to say, regarding this issue. Those who want to help, PLEASE, step up.
