We are in desperate need for 2 or 3 additional volunteers for the Travel Support Program.
The Travel Support Program team decides on allocation of funds for those contributors requesting travel assistance to attend FOSS events, this includes our own events of course ;)
There is a general process in place, the guidelines are written up and it is a job of helping to administer the requests, follow up with requesters and SUSE every now and then to see that things are moving.
Izabel and Kostas are currently the only TSP administrators and obviously when Kostas disappears to keep Greece from going up in flames Izabel is alone. This is not the best solution, thus we'd like to add a couple of additional people to the team.
Please step up, this is an important function to the project and has helped many people in the past to attend events to represent openSUSE that they could have otherwise not attended.
If you are interested and want more information about what's going on your best source of information are Izabel and Kostas.
Please consider stepping up and helping out.
