With vacations in August and holidays in December, we cannot release in September or January. I like the 8-month cycle, and support the return to November, August and March for releases .1, .2, and .3, respectively. With the "short" release cycle, I suggest that the elimination of SystemV be delayed until 13.1. I support the change to systemd, but I understand the objections of those that do not. The delay will allow the cleanup of more systemd problems, and the SystemV supporters will have a better chance of getting their maintainers in place. The python2/3 situation seems to be handled quite easily, thus the main development and testing efforts will be in supporting secure UEFI booting, and keeping up with new developments in KDE, etc. Larry -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-project+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, email: opensuse-project+owner@opensuse.org
