The promo usb image that Ricardo Valverde has created to be used at Linuxcon could be found at SUSE Gallery http://susestudio.com/a/DpnFE6/linuxcon-opensuse-12-1-gnome-3-2 Another way we did was to give an usb containing the visitor's image created at studio, just after we show and guide they how to work and use OBS and STUDIO. - well ... It's not very useful and easy to put in practice because take a little time, so with me just 2 people had a chance to go back from our booth with a personal image created at STUDIO, copied to a nice openSUSE usb. 2012/6/15 Bryen M Yunashko <suserocks@bryen.com>:

Hello Jim, Bryen,
USB was the solution last year for LinuxCon Brazil. The release happened a day before the event so Jos and other ambassadors worked A LOT to have openSUSE 12.1 in time. I'm not sure how many USB but no more than couple hundred.

Good to know a working solution has been done before and we can re-use the solution again.
Of course all hinges still on Jos's budget and more importantly actual release date of 12.2. Coolo said "mid-September" but gave no actual date. At this point, all we can do is guesstimate our options until we know for sure what the new release plan is.
Let's keep our fingers crossed that all stars and planets align in time. :-)
Thanks, Bryen
