How much testing of factory (milestones) do you and Rajko do and how much do you expect to do if the next release is targetting end of next year?
Much of what Rajko wrote applies to me, though I expect my testing to remain quite a bit above zero. Though he did mention Bugzilla, he did not mention what constantly grates on me: repeatedly being logged out during the several hours it often takes per bug to do follow-ups, part of https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=753203 while other bug trackers maintain login at least as long as the browser session is continued; compounded by every bug having two unique URLs polluting browser history, one with, and one without, the idiotic goaheadandlogin appendage; and https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=776204 In particular, replacement of sysvinit with systemd has had a huge impact on how and what I test, including no less than a big enjoyment reduction of the whole testing process. In 12.1 cycle I got around it by installing sysvinit-init on most machines. In 12.2 cycle I did that on about half. I don't know if I'll ever get over my resentment of replacing memorable 6 to 15 character common command strings with immemorable strings of ~25 characters and up, usually ending with the exact same 8 characters, .service, to perform equivalent action. It doesn't help when I see again and again systemd proponents or devs blaming other things for systemd not doing or doing things that other things depend on happening during a normal sysvinit process. e.g. https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=768788. My 60+ year old old brain does not learn like it used to, and has particular difficulty learning more complicated replacements for complicated things I had become comfortable with. I'm still using Quattro Pro for DOS constantly, using its optional 1-2-3 menuing system I learned in the early '80's learning the Lotus PC app that caused the explosion in PC sales and use. -- "The wise are known for their understanding, and pleasant words are persuasive."
