So actually, there is a shortage of the right kind of persistent well motivated "testing" which is needed by developers to fix.
Rob, you said many interesting things, I answer here for simplicity. Not only I'm testing less than before, but I'm nearly leaving openSUSE, at least if the process don't change. 11.1 don't work on my wireless config (intel, of course bug known - usually intel is free?), and I have to boot 11.0 to have Internet and mail when moving, this is a blocker for me... we should absolutely have an ordered debugging process: kernel modules at the very first, then X, then GUI, application come later. And we shouldn't leave any non corrected bug in basic system. If devs can't find the bug, ask for help here "we need badly to solve #XXX bug, please help". I certainly will do my best in such situations. knowing what kde or gnome version we have is plain ridiculous if we can't have a working computer... jdd -- http://www.dodin.net http://valerie.dodin.org http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t-eic8MSSfM http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1412160445 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-project+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-project+help@opensuse.org
