let us wait the result and decide then... see what is the final decision of nelson... if it turns out that the number of votes for him have any influence on the final result... eg if he gets a board seat and he still does not want it we can rerun the vote... just my opinion. 2. Every voter has the right & option to change his / her votes until the poll is closed.
as said before, it's not possible, because the content of the vote is not stored. And it don't have to be stored, because nobody have to know what your vote is.
so nobody can know how one voted and the vote can't be reverted. We can stop the vote and restart it from the beginning, but It's probably not worth in the present situation.
I insist to say that even if a candidate resign, the votes for him *are* significant.
I even would be glad if it was possible to vote for a non candidate member. In other situations I several times have seen a non candidate elected and accepting the result, and making a good work, specially when a group don't work well and volunteers are scarce.
anyway, we may have to restart this discussion *after* the vote, in order to know for the next time...
jdd NB: by the way, votes do have ususally the option of blank vote and knowing if this vote is significant is widely discussed and challenged. we could add this option to a future ballot, for example to show opposition to the way the vote is done or to all the candidate,
