So with the additional risks involved with others taking over the tasks the openSUSE team did for the last releases, it's not too unlikely the same slip might happen again - so why not plan with it and always release in October?
Greetings, Stephan
Ok for me but why don't do one or two respin of 13.1 ? I mean a 13.1.1 or 13.1b, that is basically a 13.1 with all updates and maybe some minor upgrades in leaf packages.
I'm not sure but you only need to rebuild the media and the ftp tree. No marketing, packaging, pr. Just an "hey! opensuse 13.1 is out !"
Sounds like something like GNOME/KDE Reloaded that can be done easily in SUSE Studio and I think somebody is already doing that... Something more and a "respin by me" does not worth like "openSUSE 13.1.1".
