You need to login with your connect.opensuse.org credentials, you can choose from two candidates and you have to vote for two candidates - of course you can only vote if you are openSUSE member [2][3].
After having logged in, I can see all announcements, except the one from Andrew Wafaa. Having made my vote, I got a red sqare saying 'you are not a member'.
So was the vote counted or not?
If it says that you are not a member, it believes you are not a member and thus not eligible to vote and ignores you. Can you send me your openSUSE login so I can double check?
This is interesting, right before I saw a green box saying 'you are successfully logged in. Now go ahead and vote'. Or similar.
PM sent with login ID
Yep, login works for any openSUSE user, just voting works only for members. Found a bug and fixed it. Issue was that application allowed only one capitalization of members login while OpenID was happy to accept any capitalization. Changed everything to use lowercase and rehashed votes. So this issue just prevented you from casting your vote but it didn't let anybody cast more than one vote. So everything should be working again. Thanks for the report and hopefully this was the only bump on the road. And turns out that I was right to step down to have free hands to do act in some emergency situation like this.
So, when I login again and want to look at the announcement of a member running for the board, I get the error message OpenID authentication failed: Nonce already used or out of range When I then vote I get the message Your vote has been casted! You can change your mind till the end of ellection. Looks like its is working now for the important part!
