Hmmm, I read that as "GNOM3 is a big & major step forward for the Linux desktop, it makes desktop productivity more efficient and adds compelling new features". Wierd.
Even the bars are frozen, you cannot interact, neither visual customize or configure anything.
Seems extremely customizable to me. And I don't see any 'frozen' bars; there is just one clean bar at the top which provides lots of functionality. Fire up gnome-tweak-tool and extensions.gnome.org and off I go...
The only Linux Mint & Mate bring some hope...
Sure, they can "hope" to be more awesome than openSUSE. Just keep trying guys. :)
I have installed open SUSE just because Linux Mint 12 have some installation bugs on HP d530 desktop,
