Yes. In presentation I mention about syntax-tree-extractor software. For me brakeman is too compiled for such a type of software. I know that there were problems with the transition from Ruby 1.8 to 1.9. In scanny we use Rubinius we can simply use with 1.8 and 1.9 (rubinius team extract parser from MRI implementation). I'll see how the present situation today in this project.
I made good experience with it when checking the build service code.
