Easy to use, Quick installationtime, Pleasing look and feel. So, are you going to plane reduce install steps?Because openSUSE has the most install steps.
For what I know/heard, the look of the installer you found won't be implemented for 10.3 due to technical reasons. I'm not a developer, but I find those steps necessary. Thanks to them, OpenSUSE is fully configured, with network, printers and other hardware fully working. I think this is one of the strong points of openSUSE. A new user might find these steps boring, but at the same time he's driven step-by-step through the configuration of his system, and potentially he's going to enjoy it better.
