Question brought up about opi
What would a proper user interface for opi be? Does the community want a graphical user interface version of opi? Also brought up in engineering meeting is can this be a joined effort https://code.opensuse.org/leap/features/issue/22
* Separate user interface is not recommend. Maybe include a metapackage for muiltimedia and extentions into desktop environment software centers like KDE Discover GNOME Software.
(if you have recommendations for other opi items, please reply here)
GNU Health has proposed that openSUSE and GNU Health join together to purchase 20 Raspberry Pi's each and donate it to a new hospital in Cameroon that will be running both openSUSE and GNU Health.
* What does the group think?
* Agreement is it is a good idea.
I also agree.
* Also an option to look at people's generosity and ask people to donate a Pi for the event. Some sort of campaign like "Pi's for Health", "Pledge a Pi" or something.
Yeah good idea, I also have some old PI's in my drawer. could i also donate those somewhere? /Syds -- Syds Bearda Treasurer openSUSE Project opensuse@syds.eu
