For information.
I just went to the Wikipedia to see when Leap 15.1 will be released but found that the graph there has not been updated for this information (last entry is for Leap 15.0).
You can find the info here, feel free to update the Wikipedia entry :) https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Roadmap
But I also noted this entry in the Wikipedia:

Reception
Jesse Smith from DistroWatch <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DistroWatch> Weekly reviewed the openSUSE 15, lauding the "work that has gone into the system installer", simplify for new users, but criticized the lack of media support, and performance issues, like a slow startup or slow shutdown.^[49] <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OpenSUSE#cite_note-49>

I think we read about people complaining on the performance of openSUSE this week already. I haven't done any measurements but heard that on Raspberry Pi 3, Debian is significantly faster in booting then openSUSE. Maybe someone can look into this if there is space to make the boot/shutdown faster.
