No, I haven't seen it. The laptop display feels very crowded with those dozens of icons. I feel lost without a plain classical menu. On which category is "help"? I can only find it by typing "help", trick that I learned after reading some of the links that I should not need to. Desktops should be intuitive...
Covers a lot of the information on the websites Adam has suggested, and more, and should be translated for whichever language you have on your install
