Initially there were different opinions (obviously, otherwise we probably wouldn't even have talked about it), but after a short discussion IIRC [1] everybody was convinced that we should keep the discussion on the public mailinglist.
I think you remember it wrong, because this is not true. We did vote to decide if we discuss about sharing voting results or not. The voting was needed because the decision was not unanimous.
Sounds like I was more tired in that meeting than I thought, but since it was after a 4 days wine festival, I'm not too surprised ;-) Sorry for mis-remembering, and thanks for sending the correction!
