Jesse Smith from DistroWatch <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DistroWatch> Weekly reviewed the openSUSE 15, lauding the "work that has gone into the system installer", simplify for new users, but criticized the lack of media support, and performance issues, like a slow startup or slow shutdown.^[49] <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OpenSUSE#cite_note-49>

I think we read about people complaining on the performance of openSUSE this week already. I haven't done any measurements but heard that on Raspberry Pi 3, Debian is significantly faster in booting then openSUSE.
I can say that Leap feels heavier than 13.1 in the same computer and the same load: XFCE, Thunderbird, Firefox. It swaps. -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from 15.0 x86_64 at Telcontar)
