The openSUSE board election[1] closed today, so we have 2 new members on the board replacing Pascal Bleser and Henne Vogelsang.
Election results:
Henne Vogelsang, 125 votes Peter Linnell, 72 votes
Sankar P, 71 votes Sebastion Kuegler, 64 votes Chuck Payne, 39 votes Nelson Marques, 23 votes
which makes 220 votes out of 469 members who were eligible to vote. Thanks for all candidates who stepped up and all members who casted their votes!
Greetings from the election committee! (election-officials@opensuse.org)
Please forgive me for asking 3 stupid questions:
1) if Henne was being replaced (together with Pascal), how did he manage to get 125 votes?;
2) who, in fact got elected to the board?; and
3) adding up 125+72+71+64+39+23 does not result in a total of 220 votes ("out of 469...."). How is the sum of 220 votes you quote above arrived at?
Thank you for your patience.

Basil, Henne at first didn't say he was going to re-run, he could because he had only ran once. Henne is now going to serve his second term, and Peter Linnel going to replace Pascal, who couldn't run because he has server twice. On voting each member got to vote twice as their two seats open. --Pup -- ----------------------------------------- Discover it! Enjoy it!
