in some words, I need to display in full hd (1080p) on a hd (720p) screen. This worked in kde for 15.1 (on two different computers) and the aspect of the display is perfect (I use it since two years now).
Is this actually readable? I think I would go mad trying to read something that is not sharp. Also isn’t 1080p kind of the minimum for new screens anyway. I have not had anything less than 1080p for almost a decade and I never buy new hardware.
This worked with xfce but not kde in 15.2 and don't work in kde 15.3 (not yet tested xfce)
I use xrandr to get this, but looks like I'm the only one that need it...
