Really? I don't follow LXDE development, I assumed that the hype boosted development though.
So why not have a "hype desktop" patter and just replace the content with each distro release? :-) It's nice for users to be able to try something new and if development stalls it gets removed from factory and moved to some repo on obs for the next release.
