By offtopic, I mean: "is better handled in its own completely separated conversational context", for 3 reasons: - half of the problem is solved already after a recent commit to the new docs, whereas the other half of the problem will be solved with people from doc.opensuse.org, which we are set to meet next week; - the topic of this thread is: 'How can I help the volunteers working on the revamped docs deprecating & migrating wiki contents?' - it's part of communication best-practice and frankly common decency to target key presuppositions against which an ongoing conversation is building in a separate conversational context, even more so when the conversation has been running for some time, so as to not torpedo that conversation. I'll be my pleasure to alleviate any doubts targeting keys presuppositions in the appropriate conversational setting. Le 07/08/2021 à 12:48, Carlos E. R. a écrit :

Dear Richard,
Thanks for your email. This is utterly offtopic but it's a good point I'll be pleased to talk with you about in private or publicly if you open a Git Issue or a new topic. I will not pursue this topic here.
Why offtopic? This is a matter of interest to any wiki contributor in the past.
How are you going to solve the issue of the licensing, is core to this migration. And as I see it, it is impossible to change the license of the texts, and you are bound to accept it.
