Greeter is in need of attention :) That is actually what Help Assistant should replace.

Wiki is as good as people that contribute content and manage it. It needs skilled people, php and java programmers, editors, administrators, document writers, artists, and it is asking for attention. We are short in every respect. Also, your choice of documentation sources tells that you are advanced user that needs bare metal advices. That will work for users that have at least some technical aspirations, but not so well for those that only look where is Help menu and expect hand holding trough the process.
And yes user will have to remember one location support page <http://en.opensuse.org/Portal:Support>
That is when Internet is working. What is needed are offline pages to fix problems with network access and graphics, so that people can actually access Portal:Support. And, when you mention it, that one needs some attention too :) Although, we tried to make it release independent,
Just check Arch wiki and compare it with ours decision is yours
I was looking often online docs in other distros, and they were better in some respects, in some not. Some articles are up to date, some not, some useful, some touch basics. It is a mixed bag where situation is changing with time. Solution would be joined effort as in one writes article other copy and adjust to the local needs. -- Regards, Rajko. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-project+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, email: opensuse-project+owner@opensuse.org
