Yes, I would.
I think a lot of the value of the boxed edition isn't the physical media - it's the support bundled and the manual. I bought a boxed edition for my first install, and have been using the downloaded version since. And, if creating a new DVD is expensive, would it be possible to create and include a CD with the updates (or the core updates) which could be added to the box. David p.s. this is no worse than MS (if that's a recommendation).
