Hello listmates!
I really gets surprised when I read this article in Linux Journal website¹:
"Say no to distributions made for specific purposes like Kali, CentOS, and OpenSuse. OpenSuse is great, but it is made for enterprise use. An everyday user won't ever need most of its features. To maintain it would be a waste of time."
I'm an everyday user and openSUSE lives in my laptop and makes me happy, and is not a waste of time to run "zypper dup" from time to time to update my system.
IMHO Someone should answer properly about this "fake news" about our beloved distro. Or publish an article in news.o.o saying that this is not right.
Greetings!

I'm honestly surprised a magazine with supposedly "25+ years of publication" is publishing a lazy writeup like that. It's chock full of dubious, unsubstantiated claims such as
DEs can be buggy and cause distraction What distractions? The biggest DE (Gnome) is very sleek (some might say to a fault)
Ever since systemd was adopted, Linux has started to feel like Windows What does an init have to do with Windows?
you better pick a distro made for everyday people, such as AntiX and SolusOS What makes these suited for "everyday people"? Shouldn't the average user pick a more popular distro to get help easier?
I won't even go into all the spelling mistakes. This "article" says more about the sorry state of journalism and than about the distros mentioned. regards
