If you come across other promotion opportunities please take them. Promotion material can be found in the openSUSE Marketing github repo [1] and the local reimbursement program [2] is there to cover costs for printing etc. In previous years oSC was always seen as a primarily inward facing event, i.e. the idea has always been that oSC is organized by the openSUSE community for the openSUSE community (existing contributors that should already be subscribed to this list.) We get together to talk about the project how we can improve as a community and distribution etc. However, the current registration number, 8 weeks prior to the event, stands at only 82. This doesn't really justify the effort that goes into organizing the event and the money being spent by our sponsors. Since we apparently cannot mobilize enough contributors to hang out with everyone else for a long weekend we need to find more external participants. So please promote the conference in any way you can. Thanks for helping to promote oSC15. For those that already contribute to the project and have not yet registered please re-evaluate whether or not you can participate in oSC15.
