Ok I am in, how you want us to start? Making a copy of what whas done for 13.1 would be a nice start and we could add stuff on the way, what do you think about it? Is there a cooperative platform or something tha we can work on?
We will update the corresponding project in progress today copying/adapting relevant issues from 13.1 https://progress.opensuse.org/projects/opensuse-13-2-release/issues/gantt
Stay tuned.
Moving the tasks is done. The gantt still has some glitches though. Relation information got lost and many tasks still need to be scheduled properly.
Anyways, there are two groups of tasks that need attention: Release Announcement: covers everything from writing the feature page to creating the final press kit: https://progress.opensuse.org/issues/4058
Release Marketing: everything to create excitement before the release and to spread the word: https://progress.opensuse.org/issues/4108
Also, currently still missing is the 13.2 wiki portal and related pages: https://progress.opensuse.org/issues/4140
Anyone who wants to participate let me know your account name please. Redmine requires people to be added to projects in order to assign tasks AFAIK.
I'm willing to participate in whatever you need. Account name is alanbortu.
Great, I've added you to the project. A pretty low hanging fruit to get started is the wiki https://progress.opensuse.org/issues/4150. Theoretically you can assign yourself to any task consider yourself capable for. Esp for marketing stuff it would be good to first find someone as central point of contact and to coordinate all the activity though. cu Ludwig -- (o_ Ludwig Nussel //\ V_/_ http://www.suse.de/ SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Jeff Hawn, Jennifer Guild, Felix Imendörffer, HRB 16746 (AG Nürnberg) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-project+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, email: opensuse-project+owner@opensuse.org
