3. Build openSUSE Leap 15.3 with SLE binaries included by default (assuming community agreement).
The "pre-built binaries" and "SLE binaries" sound an awful lot like we will not have the full package build transparency we enjoy right now. Not particularly happy to hear that.
Might be nice if it can be done the other way around:
Those SUSE packagers can submit their SLE changes to openSUSE packages or start to maintain them, where no maintainer is in charge.
SUSE's current policy is that all SLE changes should first be submitted to the openSUSE package in tumbleweed (this means the change will be in the next major SLE release) as a part of that the SLE maintainer should already also be one of the openSUSE maintainers and should already be working with any of the other openSUSE contributors to get chagnes into Leap when needed (This isn't always happening perfectly yet). -- Simon Lees (Simotek) http://simotek.net Emergency Update Team keybase.io/simotek SUSE Linux Adelaide Australia, UTC+10:30 GPG Fingerprint: 5B87 DB9D 88DC F606 E489 CEC5 0922 C246 02F0 014B
