I am very interested in helping out with existing projects. We have a news team[1] that desperately needs people who can produce good quality content about our communities activities and releases. You're more than welcome to join our efforts and make news.o.o rock even more :)
I looked through the "Junior Jobs", and two of them caught my eye. People of openSUSE and News. I would like to participate in the other projects, but that will have to come at a later date when I know more.
Cool that's great. We need editors!
Being more or less of a beginner myself, most of the stuff I write will be for beginners. Having used Ubuntu for awhile, I think that's one of the reasons why it's so popular is because it has a lot of beginner-friendly tutorials that are easy to find. So yeah, I think I would like to join the News team! Tell me what I should do to get started. :)
It isn't complicated :) Just subscribe to our team mailinglist is news+subscribe@opensuse.org and then let's discuss there what articles you want to write for beginners on http://news.opensuse.org I'm looking forward to it! :-) Henne -- Henne Vogelsang http://www.opensuse.org Everybody has a plan, until they get hit. - Mike Tyson -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-project+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, email: opensuse-project+owner@opensuse.org
